Make your mark on our time by driving the development of integrated photonics chips. Become business development manager at the Photonic Integration Technology Center in Eindhoven!

Introduction

To meet the ever-increasing demand for data and resolve society’s biggest challenges, faster and more energy efficient devices are crucial. Taking the lead in the development and production of such devices, TNO, University of Twente and Eindhoven University of Technology, and PhotonDelta have joined forces in the Photonic Integration Technology Center (PITC). And as business development manager working at the heart of the Netherlands’ Brainport region, you will help leading brands in the semiconductor industry meet their R&D goals.

What will be your role?

Operating as the first-line interface with potential and existing customers, you will identify market needs and challenges, and study trends. This will help you generate leads and open up opportunities for PITC’s capabilities. In collaboration with our programme managers, technical experts, marketing and legal experts, you will drive the entire acquisition process, negotiating and closing deals. In addition, you will build and expand your network in the integrated photonics industry, for which you will travel across the globe. And you will represent us at leading trade fairs and exhibitions, putting PITC on the map. Harnessing your in-depth market knowledge, you will also help steer our research roadmap, while benchmarking and validating our solutions.

You will join our 30+ researchers, process engineers, equipment engineers, system architects, designers and programme managers. We are an internationally diverse team of professors, MScs, PhDs and postgraduates sharing the ambition to build-up a technology base in Europe and connect with the rest of the world. Our highly sophisticated nano labs are equipped with world-leading indium phosphide, silicon nitride and heterogenous integration platforms. As we are a partner in PhotonDelta, you will also join this unique integrated photonics ecosystem. We foster an open, supportive and highly innovative atmosphere, in which we combine knowledge-sharing with fun events. Moreover, we empower you to evolve and develop your career.
